Corollas are good 'lil cars. If it's in good condition and you like it, maybe you can talk the price down a bit.

Aside from checking it out yourself, you want to ask for a service record, and even go online to some place like: http://www.carfax.com

They will care a fee for the report, you find a real pearl, or a lemon. If the owner is reluctant to let you copy down the VIN for this, that could be a red flag

Good luck.

I would check the Kelly Blue Book to make sure the price is right. http://www.kbb.com The Corolla is a great car and will last a long time. Toyota dealers also have maintenance specials for cars that have 100K and over. Mine is an '06 and I think it's a wonderful car.

for a 2001 that car has ALOT of miles most people put on 12,000 a year which means at most it should have 60,000 . the more miles the high chance of something going wrong. you should find out if it has all origanal parts or if they have replaced some. becuase even though its a 2001 if its all origanal your going to have to make a large repair within the first year of you owning it. if i where you i would look into some other cars

100k miles is pretty bad for a 2001, I have a 2000 Olds and it barely has 60,000...... I'd say NO. Check Kelly Blue Book dude....

Even if it is considered a good car, it has too many miles in it, and it is from 2001, get a better price like 3k or so, because of the normal wear and tear you are going to spend money in that car.

That's alot of miles , but Toyotas really hold up. Are you going to be putting alot of miles on it also or just use it around town? If you are going to use it a little go ahead and buy it.
