Absolutely. We are human there for we make mistakes. That's what life is all about. Making mistakes and learning from them and becoming wiser. As far as those who became defensive, you sure made a lot of assumptions on his question. All he asked was "Is it possible that your beliefs are wrong". He made no reference to religion or anything else. It was a generic question. Just because the question was posted in a religious/spirituality board doesn't mean it was a question in reference to that. There are so many off topic questions on this board, lets not make assumptions.

For an atheist, you seem to have a real fixation of what Christians belive and you seem to care way too much. WHy don't you just accept that you have your "faith", which is your choice. I just don't understand why all you God haters want the rest of the world to sink down there with you. You made your choice, I've made mine. I don't think your faith requires you to spread your gospel, whereas mine does. So I am doing it as commanded, you are doing it out of hatred. You obviously have something deep inside you that torments you, and you are looking for justification. Why not just go to a nice atheist chat room and discuss your "beliefs". Which is sort of funny, that since you don't have beliefs that you would have anything to talk about.

It depends on what are you talking about..All Christian Beliefs ..All Catholic belifs or all religions in general. It's up to you to defferntiate and know what is wrong and what is right..still you must remember that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If you went to everyone and asked if their beleifs were wrong then they would tell you no...because the key word is belief..what they think that will never be proven wrong..

Honestly I believe in Jesus Christ and I dont think that there is at least one ounce of this being wrong..but I believe that there is a possibilty that everyone else is wrong.

When it comes to religion..it's all about personal perference..

if there where a "right " belief, there wouldnt be any other beliefs besides that one, would there? who can say whats right or wrong? beliefs are by your own will...nobody can change your thoughts..but there are some things that are morally wrong that people do believe in... like murdering innocent people. in that case, it is wrong and only their God can judge them in the end

Yes, it is possible that my beliefs are wrong. That is why I try to examine them from time to time and make adjustments where needed.

Yes it is possible. But in the end I guess we will find out what the truth really is. But why are so many people worried about what someone else believes. If someone wants to be a Christian why are you so against it. Should the fact that their moral standards compared to much of society is a benefit to the overall standard of living. For example Christians aren't strapping on bombs and killing people in the name of Christ.
