The same reason why white supremacist contract and die from the same diseases as nonwhites. The same reason why heterosexuals contract and die from the same diseases as homosexuals and bisexuals. The answer is we are all human. Just because a person is a Christian does not elevate them to status of immortality. God is always looking out for his people and when the rapture comes and you are left behind you would understand why.
During the rapture all TRUE BELIVERS and followers of Christianity (not people who say one thing and do another) are taken from the earth before the tribulation hour. Seven years of hell that will come upon the whole world. If you think the world is crazy now with all the wars, sickness, and immorality just wait. Hopefully you would repent before it is to late.

"Horrible diseases" is an unfortunately open-ended phrase. Is there a specifically horrible disease that you've read a study on?
On a side note, Christians are taught that their reward waits for them in the afterlife, so you aren't likely to convert anyone with this particular argument. Why ever would you want to convert anyone to non-belief anyway? Isn't that sort of a mean thing to do from your persective, like telling a small child that Santa Claus is dead?

Like many people have stated in many other answers. where you proof? Actually, it has been proved that those with a strong (and practicing) belief are healthier. Most don't have frivolous sex and contract STDs; most avoid harmful stuff that cause lung and heart problems, for starters. Now that being said, those that have a belief are not immune, and all will die of something someday. But, those with religion, on average, live longer healthier lives.
BTW, this is not implying that religion take the place of medicine.

Do you look anything like your picture?
Maybe you should see a doctor. You don't look well.
Gospel According to Saint John
Chapter 3
16 For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world, to judge the world, but that the world may be saved by him. 18 He that believeth in him is not judged. But he that doth not believe, is already judged: because he believeth not in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the judgment: because the light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the light: for their works were evil. 20 For every one that doth evil hateth the light, and cometh not to the light, that his works may not be reproved.

God looks out for his people more than you think. Am I suseptible to a cold, or even a deadly virus? Of course I am. But in the midst of my suffering I have the comfort knowing that God will be there hearing my prayers and working out His perfect will for me. And even if I die from that disease guess what? I'm in heaven with Him where no disease and illness can ever touch me, but for those who reject God that's another story. Oh btw I know someone who had cancer we prayed for her and lifted up our concerns to the Lord Jesus, and know she's healed and cancer free. Because God takes care of his people.

Why did Christ die a horrible death? Did he do anything to deserve it? Yet He is with the Father in heaven. No one never told us that we would be exempt of these things. God rains on the just as well as the unjust. It's just all in how you accept/perceive what you're going through. As a Christian, I know that when I die, I still have the victory because death does not have dominion over me. Because He lives, I shall live.

Cause Christians live in the same fallen world as non-Christians. Just being saved and having Jesus Christ as our personal saviour doesn't keep us from feeling the effects of sin on this world. But it does keep us from feeling the effects of sin in the next life.

Because we live in a fallen world. Being a Christian does not make you immune to disease and trouble. Being a Christian just guarantees you will rise from the dead to a perfect world.
