why wont the bbc show the hilights from scotland games surely we have as much rite to watch our national team as anyone else we pay licence fees too

in response to previous reply. this game was not shown live on bbc scotland. and yes, some highlights were apparently shown that evening, but many people like me were still in glasgow soaking up the amazing atmosphere ( and i didnt even get a ticket to the match).
also - i noticed the bbc breakfast news programme didnt make any mention of the saturday games this morning. mmmmmmm could it be because england didnt do so well???? sorry to be so negative about the english media, but it is rather suspicious!

well actually the bbc sport website had the scotland victory as their main story. didn't they show highlights at 10.30 that night?
anyway, the scotland games are played live on bbc scotland, which is where i presume most scottish people live

okay, so it wasn't shown live.....but lets be realistic about this.....there are around 5 million scottish people and 55 million english people in the uk

Because the English are resenting the fact that Scotland's national team is doing better than their's at the moment! I'm sure that if French had won, we'd be seeing it to no end!

although it's all about TV contracts it still is frustrating.....even AOL reported the games at the weekend as...england draws, scotland wins & wales loses......so even when we win it doesn't take the headline.....just nice for a change to be able to enjoy a victory though! But what do we need to do to get a Scottish commentator on Sky.....

The B.B.C did show highlights they were on at 10.30 on Saturday night.
And what GREAT highlights they were too!!!
The other crowd were on for the full 90 minutes and that did not produce any highlights!!!
The only highlight was Macedonia getting a point!!
Get it up you England!!

They can't accept the fact that we won against France and they didn't win against Macedonia. Instead they'll show the 'highlights' from the England game.

We get the adventure of day with gary great lugs and hansen on a saturday evening, on a sunday we get ''sportscene'' for all of the SPL highlights, extremely a rapid show extremely! then we additionally get MOTD2 aswell on a sunday

Highlights of the France game were on on Saturday night at 10.35.
Despite knowing the score I was still crappin' ma pants watching it.

We did see high lights on Saturday night and Sunday .
The reason it wasn,t live was because of the Sky contract.
