All of my kids are healthy, my mother is making a swift recovery from her recent illness, and for the first time in over a week the sun is actually shining. That's the icing on the cake.

I am thankful for learning and growing from the mistakes I've made in my life, for being a humble person, for finding the answers to truths (even if I only scratch the surface), for being spiritual without being held back by religions & deities, for loving myself and seeing myself important enough to take care of myself, for having a loving husband who's as fun loving as me and and keeps me young even though he's older...lol, for my furry brats' love (3 dachshunds & 2 cats). I could go on, but I'd be taking up waaayyyy too much space.

I got my western melodrama copied and mailed off to Logan, Utah. Well, actually, it will go out tomorrow since today is Columbus Day and the mail has to wait until tomorrow. Also family. And peach cobbler. And scriptures.

The same thing I am thankful for every day, the fact that God thought enough of me to wake me up and give me another day! There are so many that did not wake up today! God bless

The nice weather,
What I ate (and will eat) today
The roof over my head
The fact I can go to grad school (rather than work for a living)
My family
My friends
The fact I can pray to God anytime and He will listen
Passing my big exam last month

Myself. It may sound selfish at first but when you really think about it the only person we are guaranteed to spend our lives with is ourself. Over the last few years I have learned to like myself (as opposed to once hating myself) and that has changed my life and the lives of those I am close to tremendously.
