Go to the nearest engraving store, usually found in your local mall. They have great gifts that can engrave your favorite saying so she'll treasure it always. I love the throws that you add your own picture and saying to. Whatever you give her will be special. Grandmothers are just special people.

If your grandma collects something, get her that. My grandma likes to do puzzles, if your does, you could get her that. You could have some flowers delivered and then take her out to eat lunch. If she wears jewelry & has a small family, get her something like a mothers ring or necklace, but have the stones be the color of her grandchildren's b-day months instead - maybe other grandchildren will pitch in. Get her a gift certificate to her favorite salon or day spa. Take her out to dinner & to a movie. She'll probably enjoy just spending time w/ you more than anything.

Does she have any video clips or songs that are quite specific to her? if so, i could say perhaps a DVD or CD with a number of those classic oldies on them--they say that express memorable products which includes those would help jog the long-term thoughts of Alzheimer's sufferers. even possibly a musicbox with a topic which potential something to her. different than that, i could recommend perhaps a scrapbook of relatives pictures, or maybe ask her to checklist a video bearing on a number of her well-liked thoughts in case you may seize her on a competent day. something like which would be a useful treasure for the relatives to savour as a memorial to her interior the destiny.

I always found that the best things to get people is something that would have sentimental value or something, related to a special interest, that is difficult to find. If she has practical needs, it may be less difficult. You need to consider what you know about the person - needs, interests, etc.

If you have ever heard of a store called Things Remembered?
I get a lot of presents there for my family and they have scrapbooks, and such that she can keep forever.
