Verbal assault =
when a person, uses really vile words against you ,
threatens you and demeans you .
Usually including swear words

it is not easy to prove ,
unless the offence ,is overheard by a witness.
or taped and the tape verified as being from that altercation
, at a particular time .

Nobody, should be subjected to verbal abuse,
any more than they should be subjected to physical abuse .

Both are totally unacceptable and a criminal offence .

There is not such thing as Verbal Assault. It is called Harassment or Aggrevated Harassment if it is done on a communication device. It must include a threat of violence that places you in fear of harm
