Hey folks,

What should I do to make my hair smell wonderful?

Now, I'm using Head and Shoulders and Revlon Body Building Conditioners.. And the very next day, its got a foul smell.. The fragrance of H&S combines with the sweat and smells bad...

What should I do to get rid of it and make it smell great for atleast 2 days?! This is because I've got Sinusitis and I'll get a bad headache if I wash my hair everyday...

Thanks for your help..

A perfect produst to use, so as to avoid frequent shampooing,
is Naturia dry shampoo by Rene Furterer.
It is available through Sephora.com

Directions: Spray onto hair. Leave on for 2 minutes, then brush out.
It contains oil of peppermint, caraway, and basil.
Price is $23 dollars for 3.2 ounces.

When wet shampooing, try a delicious-smelling shampoo by Matrix that is called Biolage Normalizing shampoo, available in hair salons and possibly in Target or Wal-mart.

Try getting a girl anti dandruff shampoo and conditioner. Then the smell will match. Or, find a guy anti-dandruff shampoo and conditioner that is fragranced.

Being a guy, I usually put a liberal amount of a good brand of aftershave into my bathing water. The shampoo and the aftershave leaves behind a great smell and does not harm the hair. I guess you could try that with some of your perfumes.

You sort of answered your own question - you don't wash your hair every day! All the men I know have to due to an active lifestyle. Try blow drying your hair as soon as you get out of the shower. Here's a clip from Mayo.com ~ God bless!

Prevention
You can reduce your risk of chronic sinusitis by carefully treating allergies and colds. Work with your doctor to get allergy symptoms under control. He or she may suggest medications or allergy shots. These other suggestions may help:

Take care of a cold. Drink plenty of fluids when you have a cold. Keep your nasal passages clear by gently blowing your nose, one nostril at a time.
Avoid air travel at certain times. Try to avoid air travel during a cold, allergy attack or bout of sinusitis. If you must fly, decongestants may reduce the pressure that can block your sinuses.
Avoid irritants. If you're prone to sinusitis, avoid cigarette, cigar and pipe smoke and other air pollutants that can cause your sinus membranes to swell. Alcohol also can cause your sinus membranes to swell.

Get rid of the H&S and go for Nioxin -- it builds your hair and smells great. You can also use Sea Breeze toner on your scalp before shampooing to get rid of the dandruff and it smells minty fresh.

first off why are you worried about it? got a hot date?
second you should stop using the current shampoo.
third you should use Herbal Essences cause it smells - words cannot describe
and fourth, try extra cologne!
