When you get angry or upset, your body's adrenaline system is activated. And when this happens, your brain sends signals to your adrenal glands to shunt most of your bloodflow to your stress-adapted organs: The brain, heart, lungs, and muscles. As a result of this, your gastrointestinal system doesn't operate as efficiently as it should for lack of bloodflow, hence the bloated feeling and upset stomach. This chain of events as it relates to stress, is known as the "fight or flight response".
Short term, our bodies can handle this response with no problems; chronically, the by-products of this response (namely cortisol) can wreak havoc with our bodies and general health, so it's best to limit our stressors during our lives. Easier said then done, I know ;)
