No, baby oil is mineral oil and does not really penetrate the hair shaft. If you dry hair Jojoba oil is very good. So is wheat germ oil. If you have dry hair you can add avocado oil to the mix. Just make sure you use a gentle shampoo when washing out and nothing with Sodium Laureth (or Laurel) Sulfate as that is a detergent and will just negate the good work you've done on your hair.

No!
Actually what it does is give it a shine coat that looks great and healthy, so rely on eating properly and properly managing the hair for the best possible condition of hair and strength ! Applying the baby oil attracts much debris and dust so be cautious using it and use only a very little and not coat the hair with this product!

no
because hair gets stronger only when you have a balanced life style i mean balanced diet excerise work routine etc etc
baby oil just helps in easy combing as you dont use your comb harshly on your hair
otherwise when the oil mixes with your sweat and dirt then the hair starts stinking
use baby oil before washing for 2 hrs in good as it relaxes your head lifts up the dryness and dirt
the amount (oil) left after washing is just enough to make your hair look shinning smooth and great

Only if bugs find it attractive and stick to your hair. Just kidding!

I think baby oil is for skin use only.

I have found Pantene Restorative shampoo/conditioner is making my hair feel stronger.

Also their is that Garnier Lime green run of products out in the grocery aisles to check out.

Your question made it to the top of the days question.

If you have dry hair, a drop or two of baby oil mixed in with your conditioner will make your hair smoother and it'll give it a nice shine, but it won't make it stronger.

Tea tree oil works better all the way around,, it gives you nice soft hair, gets rid of danderuff,, plus if you work or go to school around other people or have school age kids,, it repells head lice.

I would think baby oils are made for babies ,hence it may not have any strong ingredients ,compounds to make the hair stronger .If at all it would make the hair softer after washing.

NO!!!! I own a salon and in the salon business for 12 years as the rest of your body needs proteins and minerals so does your hair, if hair is dry/brittle use an intense moisture treatment ask your stylist for help "OIL treatments are good till your next shampoo "
you may also want to look into vitamins for hair/nails

Please do not put baby oil in your hair. When you get into your later years your hair will fall out. I am not saying this to spook you. What you are doing when you put baby oil on your hair you are starving your scalp for oxygen. When you do this the follicle dies' In turn your hair falls out. It might take 40 years before this happens or it might take 10. Either way it will happen. DON'T DO IT!!!! P.S. The girls don't like running there fingers thru oily hair. DON'T DO IT!!!!!

No, and it contains Benzene, which is very bad for your health. See the link below for the book, The Cure For All Diseases," by Dr. Hulda R. Clark, Ph.D., N.D. A better choice for you to use on your hair (and whole body) would be either virgin cococut oil or olive oil.
