If you had a stomach bug, haven't thrown up yet, but feel like you could at any minute and have diarrhea, would you go into work anyway?

Not a chance, most employers today even urge you not to come in if you are feeling under the weather, so as not to infect the rest of the crew. If you are sick, I hope you get to feeling better, and take care!

Not if I was that sick, no. I have a sore throat, though, and am a little under the weather and plan on going to work today. But I don't work in close contact with many people so I'm not afraid of getting anyone sick at all. I think it is irresponsible to go to work or school when you are very sick because you put other people at risk, but I know sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to pay the bills or make the grade.

No way, because I hate feeling like that when I'm driving, and who likes to have diarrhea in the restrooms at work?

Really depends on the job. If it was an office job where I could go to the bathroom as I pleased, and didn't feel just terrible, I'd go...If it was a production job where you have to beg to be excused to go to the crapper....No Way....

No way. You could be coming down with something contagious that you could spread or you might just be wasting the company's time and money by being unproductive.

There are only 2 Admin. Asst. in my office and we share the load. Call me loyal or call me crazy - I'd go!
You could always go in, let them see how sick you are and let THEM tell you to go home! (ya get more 'brownie points' that way!)

NO! that's what employers tell the employees! If u think you are going to be sick (or already sick) stay home! You don't want to get your co-worker's or customer's sick too!

if you work in a plant like i do, you have to go in or you don't get paid. if you stay out you get an occurrence and if you get 7 they will fire you. so i go in and let them worry about finding someone to take my place when i have to leave the line to go to the bathroom.

Yes, just soo it looks like your a trooper, but chances are they would send you home if you barfed on your workstation

I have my own office so I probably would. I can be sick there and not have to mess with anyone. Now if it was different then no.
