Yes, I have heard many testimonies where people have been healed miraculously by praying God's Word's of healing. Read this morning where Joel Osteen's mom was diagnosed with liver cancer & sent home to die in a few weeks. The doctors couldn't help her. She claimed God's Word, "I will restore health to you and heal you wounds. I will live and not die & I will declare the works of the Lord. I'm strong in the Lord & the power of His might. With long life He satisfies me and shows me His salvaton! Etc..." God healed her completely. Today & yrs later she is alive & well. Been reading Joel Osteens book, "Your best life now." Actually God delivered me from tabacco because I prayed out loud God's promises. I sang, "I'm not under law of sin & death, I'm under Grace. In everything I do in word or deed, I will do in the name of my Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ." Never had tabacco since (15 yrs ago). I was submitting to God's Word. Satan fled.

it's a lady that attends my church and she was healed ......my pastor told her to go back to her doctors whenever her next appointment was and not to miss and she went back and her doctors couldn't find anything

If such a thing actually happened, don't you think we would just do away with hospitals and medical research, and just pray people back to health?
Do you not find it odd that even though we've been praying for centuries, we have still found it necessary to use medicine and surgery to cure ourselves? If god actually answered prayers, which it has been proven "he" does not, doesn't it follow that we wouldn't need medical science?
Medical science has saved the life of many an atheist, while many a theist has died, regardless of his prayers. That would lead me to believe that medicine is not "god working in mysterious ways", either.
Anyway, I hope you'll consider all your options, before simply latching onto theology. Make an educated opinion, not just a comfortable one.
