That depends. If you plan on having a small wedding you want to make sure it's on a day that the few people you invited can attend. If not, it's up to you. Usually the weekend is a better time for weddings since people can make it and stay late without having to worry about work the next day. But if your special date falls on a weekday, there are advantages to that too. Cheaper halls, booking appointments will be easier and your special day won't be rushed so that the priest or minister can go marry someone else. As for what time of day... my best friend got married at night and that was just perfect. If you get married early in the day the whole day seems to drag on. If you just take half a day, you won't be so tired and neither will your guests.

More people are available on the weekends, especially Saturdays, but Sunday afternoons are good too. Keep in mind that the time of the day you're having your wedding can influence how much your guests will eat at the reception! If you have a 1 p.m. wedding, they'll eat like they're having lunch. If you're having a 6 p.m. wedding, then they're going to eat like they're having dinner/supper!!!

Well, it completely depends on you and what you're wanting. You're going to save all sorts of money on everything from reception site rentals to flowers to djs to catering by having a wedding on a weeknight (Sunday through Thursday), Friday would be slightly more expensive, and Saturday will book up far in advance and cost will be at a premium. However, guests usually prefer Saturday weddings, they're not racing from work to go to your wedding, or they're not worried about having to be at work the next day, and skipping out relatively early. But in the end, its your choice and your wedding day, so have it whenever you want! My sis in law got married on a Wednesday, because it was a date that held signifigance for her and her hubby. It was a pain in the butt for those of us who had to travel (I had to basically take the week off work), but it was important to her.

Traditionally, weddings are on Saturdays. (Gives guests a day when they aren't working and have the whole day off to attend, and gives out-of-towners time to get there.)
Any time of afternoon or evening is ok. It really depends on what kind of wedding you want. The later in the evening you get the more formal you get. Anything after 5pm is considered formal. (ex: If you have a wedding at 3pm your bridesmaids could wear tea-length gowns, while if you had the wedding at 6pm they would wear floor-length.)

Friday night receptions will save you money at a banquet hall
You can also have Saturday -- that is most common place and easiest for out of town guests to attend

when you have nice weather, like here would be spring or summer. If you have snow ,its bad to have weddings, because, when you have anniversary, and you want to go out to celebrate, you don't want weather to stop you for that special date celebration ever.you also should marry on a Saturday,so all the people you invite could show up.you should marry at 1P.M. and you could leave the party by 6P.M. and go on the honey moon

I prefer Saturday afternoons, they are more expensive to book, but most people are off work and can attend. plus you can do the rehearsal dinner/set up/ on friday.
Friday evenings are also okay., just dont make it too early or people won't have time to change after work. (i'd say no early than 7)
