I got a bill that comes to 18.44, and I want to know how much you would give the driver with a bill that comes to 18.44. Would you hand him a 20, and tell him to keep the change?

It depends on how often you plan to order pizza from this particular restaurant. I always tip $4-$5 on a $20ish delivery bill from places that I order often from. Why? I tend to get my food quickly, and first if they have several deliveries to make on the trip. These folks will remember the people who reward them for their efforts.

The money left from the $20.00 bill sounds about right - 10% excluding tax is the appropriate amount for tipping delivery person. Although - with gas prices high - I might throw in a little extra.

I usually don't tip him any more than $2-3. If it is raining or thunderstorming, I may tip him a bit more. With the $20 situation, that is only giving him about $1.50 in tip, I would've added at least another .50 cents in tip money.

I'd say "Keep the change" is good. I had a friend of mine pay off her credit card bills by taking a second job at night as a driver. 1-2 bucks is good so you were spot on.

Depends on what the pizza delivery person looked like. If they were hot 10. If it is opposite sex and nice looking 5. If the were nasty 1.

The standard I've always used is $2 per pizza. Unless they have a delivery fee. Then, screw 'em.

Yup, check though because some pizza places add a tip already in to your bill. If they have charged you already don't give them another damn dime!
