My boyfriend and i just recently started officially being a couple. He has a horrible temper though, he gets aggrivated when i turn his chair to face me while hes watching a movie and last night i was at his house and he went to go take a shower and put his phone on full lock. Im worried. I do really care about him. Im hoping these are all flukes.I told him i couldnt be with him unless he changes his attitude, and he said he would try. He also confessed to me that little things that i do get him aggrivated. Like calling him over and over again when he clearly told me he would call me back after he would get out of the club ( i went home to visit my parents). But other times every weekend he goes anywhere he always includes me. So im horribly confused.

Trust and love are at the heart of any relationship. If he's locking his phone, he doesn't trust you for whatever reason, and it doesn't seem that you've done anything to cause him to feel that way. Get out before his temper turns violent towards you. You deserve respect and attention, and to be loved, and it's not a crime to demand that.

OK, let me get this right. He gets mad when you turn his chair, or lock his phone, or call him over and over again when he said he would call you and you think he is the one with the problem? Lady, you are controlling. What right do you have to do any of those things? Who would appreciate anybody that behaves like you do? I'd be angry too, if someone did these things to me.

As far as his temper, he is allowed to be angry and you are contributing to your own demise. Give him some space!!

If he is abusive when he is angry, then you both have a problem, but your part in this deal is you are invading his privacy.

Peace.

Run away while you can - this is not something you want to stay in. You have already given him an ultimatum to change which can be difficult. I'd also check your own behavior- the turning the chair to focus attention on you during a movie and calling repeatedly sounds very much like you are not feeling secure with him.

There is a saying that a leopard will not change its spots. You will not be a happy wife if you marry a short-tempered man.
Split before it is too late.
