It's great - generally a creamy soup reminiscent of any creamy vegetable soup (ie; broccoli, cauliflower, etc). In Mexico, they actually make a soup with just the squash or pumpkin flowers called Flor de Calabasa that is ever so delicately flavoured and that would rank as a gourmet dish on any continent.

i'm not really a lover of pumpking anything but i recently had pumpkin soup at a restaurant and it was so amazingly delicious that i keep going back there just to eat it... it's a cream of pumpkin soup that uses heavy cream... totally worth a try i say.

I have never tried it but pumpkin bread is good! Go ahead and try it and then you will know for sure! If I made pumpkin soup I would like lots of spices in it and sweetened with honey!

I made my first pumpkin soup on Sunday - with curry powder and coconut milk. it was strangely sweet, but I loved it! Very filling, easy to make, great colour. Plus, you get to carve a haloween pumpkin and grill the seeds to eat too. A great fruit/vegetable!

Cream pumpkin soup is delicious, if it's cooked properly (there's a restaurant I go to that serves it and it's great! I made it once myself and it was pretty good too...)

The only way I'll touch pumpkin is to carve a jack o'lantern for Halloween!

I never cared for pumpkin, but try it, you might discover a new food!
