Yes, Windows Vista runs ok on a MacBook. You can either run it natively by installing Apple's BootCamp (http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/), or you can run it under a virtual machine by using Paralell's VM (http://www.parallels.com/en/products/desktop/).

The current drivers provided by BootCamp are, rightly so, Win XP drivers, but a new batch of Apple's Windows Vista drivers will be made available when Vista launches.

On a Mac Book you will not have support for Vista's "Glass" interface since the macbook uses integrated graphics. On a MacBook Pro all Vista "Glass" will work just fine.

P.S. I run Vista on my MacBook Pro today under Parallel's VM...

Until Apple makes drivers compaitble with Windows Vista, it won't perform to it's full potential. Just stick with Mac OS X.
