they are both pretty powerful but the contour has 200bhp while the probe has 164 also i think the contour looks better but is a lot more expensive, but i can still kind of-hopefully afford it... can i get some help wif dis issue????

The SVT Contour is a VERY nice car to DRIVE. Being an avid Ford fan myself, I would still recommend NEITHER car. A Ford Probe is only a rebadged Mazda MX-06. Also, parts are ridiculously expensive, and hard if not impossible to get, when needed, therefore I would strongly advise against it. The Contour SVT is also a very rare model, which would make it pricey for repairs, if and when needed. If you want something inexpensive, both to pruchase and repair, get a Mustang GT. Believe me, these cars are a lot more fun to drive, and build up for higher performance. Hope this helps!!!

The Probe is a Mazda drivetrain. What is the Contour? All Ford.
Go with the GT.

The Probe is just about the worst car Ford motor company ever made. Another being the Escort. Lots of transmission problems, as well as blown head gaskets. I would not recommend a probe on my worst enemy.
