When I sit in most couches and soft chairs, I slowly get pain in both back leg muscles from where my ley bends at the knee up to my butt. Its a dull pain at first and slowly gets worse. Went and had an MRI on my spine and it shows a slight disc buldge. Never much sciatica pain and only in one leg, mostly in my butt. If I have my legs up, like on the couch, no pain. No pain sleeping or walking or excercising. Only when sitting? I have had this pain for 2 to 3 years now. Does not get worse. Its hell to drive for 2 or more hours. HELP!

why don't you see an orthopaedic surgeon. You may be suitable for decompression (Lumbar laminectomy).

don't fret. I have it too rather often but than again i have only 1 leg. The most probable answer is that ur thigh muscles are weak and need some exercise. but it is wiser to seek medical attention to really determine uts cause, it could be a misalignment of ur bones or hips or muscle pull or tendon tear... etc. To get temp relieve, lie flat on ur back for 1/2 an hour. It will hurt u there rather more than usual but after that it will feel rather good in the morning. Have u treid hanging urself upside down. that helps also. have a freind there in case u black out if u have never done it before.. as a staert 2 0r 3 mins is sufficient. gradually increase as u get better control of the blood flow to ur head.

Shin splints. Inflammation of the connective tissue round your anterior tibialis (entrance of minimize leg). Need bigger footwear. Are you walking at the monitor? Treatment: one million)Antinflammatories (Ibuprofen-assuming you're now not allergic) two)Hydration-be certain you keep adequately hydrated three) Ice at the shins - 20 minutes on / one million hour off as normally as viable four) Rest When infection is down: DO THIS five) Stretch the calves. Any calf stretching recreation will do - ask your train. Do the stretches day-to-day. 6) Strengthen the entrance of your minimize legs. Good recreation for strengthening entrance of minimize leg: Lean towards a wall going through clear of the wall along with your ft two or so ft from the wall. Your frame will have to be inflexible like a plank. Flexing simplest on the ankle attempt to pull your ft again closer to your shins. Do this 30 or 40x after which relaxation. Repeat 3x and do it day-to-day. This will hold the shin splints away. Good good fortune and get your vault on!

The longest nerve in your body is located in that area....the sciatic nerve and it can and does get damaged.

It can be hard to treat and it can be very painful.
