Almost everynight I am getting up and eating something, I'm not sure if my body is hungry or not...I think it's just become a habit my body has gotten used to. It is disrupting my sleep and I do not want to gain weight because of this silly habbit! I work out 5-6 days a week and I am a vegetairan...I do get enough calories during the day and enough protein/calcium etc. I need some good advice to try and stop this nightly ritual....thanks

It's called DISCLIPLINE and it's not the easiest thing in the world to achieve. So, to help yourself you need to start setting your mind in the right place by telling yourself various times throughout the day that you WILL NOT be getting up at night to feed your face because it is NOT Healthy nor is it good for your figure. Then, I also suggest drinking more water during the day than you are currently. It helps to clean out unhealthy cravings...no joke! And, good luck.......YOU CAN DO IT!!

Try a light snack before you go to sleep. That may help.

PS I am a strict Vegan. Except for the Vitamin B12 advice, Ignore everything else Shawna G wrote. As a Yogini, remember Ahimsa (non harming)

I know you are a vegetarian but you have to eat so rigid to get all the things you need. God put animals here for us and gave us canine teeth to eat meet. Are you getting b12 because no veggie item has that. Most cravings are because you are lacking something in your diet. I would consider eating meat

Rather than eating something, read a book or do yoga. Teach yourself a new habit.

First, are you pregnant? When you have the urge just resist it. Drink water instead and go back to sleep.
