To all the people who answered my question, thank you so much for helping me with this. The main question asked "Is she in pain". No she isnt, so I can now relax and let the little girl be. Hopefully I may be able to put her in the "Guinness Book of Records" for the oldest living dog. Wouldnt that be great. Your thoughts really appreciated. Vonnie S

no problem,, have faced the same situation a few times.
My vet has always said when it's time, your gal will let you know.
Be comforted that when she goes, she's just getting a head start on you across that Bridge, she'll have some romp and play time to get used to a young healthy body with eyes that work to check out all the places she will want to show you when it's your turn to cross.

I knew one that was 20, but her quality of life was pitiful.
