No but I am having a good time learning more about the other religions and how they are same and different at the same time.

I was a more or less traditional theist until a few months ago (actually I was a process theist, if anyone knows what that means).
Since starting to participate here, I have become more of a semi-theist -- I still use theistic language, because I think it's useful, but I no longer believe in a personal God.
This had more to do with my own thinking and theological reading than with YA R&S, however.

Are we trying to convert anyone here, or are the true believers attempting to reason together to come to a more complete understanding. With the hecklers, that is not easy to do here, but when, once in a while I see a post by someone that knows what they are talking about, I either ponder and study what they say or give a hearty "amen".

I don't know anyone personally that goes on R & S.
It's sad how much Christian bashing there is. Alot of people say that Christians are hateful & stuff, but most Christians reply in a loving manner.
I think that the atheists and anostics, etc are here because they're curious and working hard to defend their position. They may want to be careful because God is more powerful than they realize and they may end up getting "saved".

Honestly...if someone converted due to yahoo answers R & S....it would point to a serious mental issue stemming from lack of self awareness, personal power and responsibility. If they are willing to convert in an online forum without personal contact with someone from the religion they are wanting to convert to...I would doubt the sincerety of the conversion.

I don't look to convert anybody. I only look to find honest questions that can be answered on a scriptural basis. now if people convert because of that then great. but we were not called to make converts, rather we were called to make disciples.

We will help others to convert to Islam (including you).
Whether they do or not, it is a mater of Allah will and I'm not bothering about the results as long as I'm helping them to recognize the only bath to heaven. The rest is in the hand of Allah.
Some prophets couldn't have more than two followers !! despite their perfectness and level of knowledge and convincing style. So, whose me to claim the ability to convince people converting to Islam.
I'm just trying my best and I'm happy with it.

Yes, some people claim that I have swayed them over to agnosticism, although many of those have been honest enough with themselves to admit that they probably were agnostic all along and just didn't realize what it was.

Not that I know of. I went to Church and tried to understand religion from a theists point of view, but ultimately failed. I felt as though I were lying to myself.
