Although engineers are often considered by other professionals to be the most ethical, I feel that encouraging engineers to become registered would be the most effective.

Listing of points can not do any thing. The only thing to be done to promote professionalism among any professional is to assure financial security as per the standard of the particular society where the said professional lives !!
