Yes, more than once cover to cover, but I was amazed to learn that one of my students has NEVER read the Bible! Even as an agnostic I have read the Bible! I would even assume that an atheist would have some point in learning what they DIDN'T believe... but maybe that's where the religious certainty of atheists part ways with us agnostics... Some don't even bother to learn enough to defend their own position!

Yes, many times. There was even a period in my life when I studied it, looking for directions for how to live a good and moral life. Once I realized that much of what the Bible teaches is not conducive to living a good and moral life, I began to look elsewhere. In short, I grew up and stopped looking for answers in ancient, pieced-together anthologies.

Several times. And it seems like each time I see something new that I missed before or something becomes clearer as I spend more time thinking about it in context with who is speaking and to whom they are speaking and what is taking place at the time. I continue to grow in knowledge each time I open the cover.

Only once. It took me six months. It was well worth the effort.

I'm revisiting differnt parts now. I'll most likely start from the beginning again once I'm finished re-examining the Gospels.

Yes. I read it from cover to cover twice. I haven't attempted it a third time, but still read from it and study quite often.

I have, it was a very difficult read. After reading it, I became more skeptic because a lot of it did not make any sense to me. Perhaps I am missing something that all of the Christians see clearly. I could not form any solid attachment to it though.

4 times
And listened to it on C.D.
This is the reason I am a Christian
I see the truth in it.\
You know actually..with all the studies I have done in all the various books in the Bible,,it's hard to say, if you are just talking about reading it through cover to cover, 4 times.
But with all the varoius study..hard to say.

Yes, one of the most boring works of fiction I ever suffered through.

How people turned this drivel into a belief system is moronic.

Nope, I attempted to sit down a few years ago at a mates house, with his Mums bible, I got a few pages in, it was surprisingly interesting, but only for fictional purposes, I wouldn't take it as the truth!
