Ok some guys say that there are temptations around every corner, if a girl touches him innocently he automatically thinks about sex with her, or if he sees some girl wearing a shirt exposing a little bit of her chest but not her cleavage or her cleavage it just gets him to think about sex.
((Christians I"m talking about))

Other guys say they don't have a problem, they don't think about sex when a girl touches them innocently(back, arm ect) or if they see a girl exposing a little bit of their chest.

Ok I'm confused, the Christian guys that say they have no problem are they lying or what?

Because guys are 200000x sexually wired then women and anything can set them off into the sex mode. So I'm confused about those guys that deny they have a prob.

I'm a Christian guy who tends to think about sex alot. That doesn't mean I think about sex every time a woman touches me, by no means. I have many female friends in church who innocently touch me and sex with that woman never crosses my mind. In fact even when I see blantantly obvious sexual images on TV or in movies, I don't automatically think about sex.

I do enjoy spotting a bit of cleavage, because God did wire guys to be visual. But that image doesn't overtake my mind. I don't forget what I was talking about and start drooling and lusting just because I see something that pleases my eyes.

I can give you another example from a different scenario. Some people are addicted to alchohol. I never have been. I used to drink like a fish back in the day, and I still drink moderately today. Your question might ask, "Does a guy who has a drink always want to drink excessively? And if a guy says he doesn't want to drink excessively, is he lying?" The simple answer is no. Different people have different weaknesses. For some guys it's booze, for others it's flesh. So some of the guys you mention might be lying, but certainly some of them aren't.

The guys that DON"T get aroused probably have access to sex whenever they want. And don't need to be stimulated by other woman because they have one at home.
There is quite the opposite to that also, guys that have wives at home and are bored of the same thing ( I know a few of those ) and get incredibly stimulated by other women.
It is our actions that dictate sin. Women do think about sex too, "A women's heart is an ocean of secrets."(Titanic) But again, for the most part women can have sex whenever they want ( hence your 200000x theory which is probably closer than you think ) so we don't need to be "stimulated".
But men just like women, have to control themselves. When they deny it, they not only deny it to you, but to themselves and to God.
God bless 'em.

Spare me....

If you dress provacatively you want guys to look...when they do you acuse them of being lustful...when they don't look you are offended and take it personally. Stupid insecure women do this to men all the time. It's not the only catch 22 women put men in either. Too many women play too many games and give the rest of us a bad name.

When I go out dressed to the 9's I expect guys to look. They do and I'm not at all offended. That's the purpose of staying in shape and dressing sexy. Men are supposed to do this. It's hard wired in for the propagation of our species. The guys that ssay they don't have a problem with it are just trying to gain points with you....they still have the same goal and it has nothing to do with being a christian or not. Get over it.

Not every guy is driven by testosterone all of the time. Male sexuality is more complex than simply being driven to find sexual gratification. Age is a big factor-as you get older you tend to become more interested in emotional attachment than straightforward sex. Young guys in their teens and early twenties are the only ones who will be sexually wired all of the time, and religious morality won't influence that.

it all depends on what is going on in the mind of the person..... it has got nothing to do with biology...... why doesnt the same feeling come when your mother or sister touches you? because you are not thinking about sex ( for whatever reason) ..... if you look at women or men with sex on your mind... then you will feel sexual..... the people who say that they dont have a problem.... some of them could be lying as you said.... some might be thinking something else..... some might not look at the other gender as mere sexual objects..... its an individual thing.... it has nothing to do with religion.... gender.... bio chemistry..... and on the contrary i have read that women have a greater sexual desire and appetite than men.......

Your question brings to memory this anecdote about my last trip to church: My 12-year old daughter was in a musical at Grandma and Grandpa's church (huge Assembly of God church in CA) so I had to make the obligatory appearance. My husband was with me (Sidenote: My husband is very self-confident, knows he's my hunka burnin' love, not jealous, etc.). After church, he told me that he was completely disgusted by how overtly the men at the church were checking me out: looking up and down when I sat. He said it was completely creepy and worse than any public place we had been in together. I was dressed in business wear: slacks and a top. I have no cleavage to speak of. This is the same church where a youth pastor was convicted of child molestation, another youth pastor having a threesome with two teenagers, the Associate Pastor caught in two adulterous affairs: you know, the typical Evangelical place of worship.

The summary: People rely on a church because they lack self-control and sound judgment. It makes more sense that more deviants would be "religious." So, in that mix, you have a higher percentage of undereducated, underdeveloped, immature, troubled, and addictive-personalities. Christianity seems to believe that, if one regularly attends church, or is "close to Jesus," the "devil" is scared away. False. Christianity, in particular, gives instant credibility to warped people.

(We have moved an hour away and my daughter rarely attends. I want to expose her to choices in moderation.)

I think that some guys honestly don't immediately think about sex when they see a woman with some cleavage. Others might think about it, but then dismiss the idea as sinful and deny they had the thought.

It depends on the girl and the state of mind of the guy. If a guy is living close to Jesus, then he would not have any sexual thoughts and even if he has one, he will not dwell on it, thereforer it would not be an issue for him. Some girls would not generate sexual thoughts on a particular guy no matter what.

Been there.

You need an outlet. You need also to close any doors to hyper-sexuality. Porn, or even promiscuous television shows, can be a problem.

Spend time in the word and get to know purity from a godly perspective.
