I used to Live in London and I found it hard to find a cockney londoner. Then when the London Marathon was taking place thats all I seen was lots and lots of white people running for various charities.
I wondered why with London being so multi-cultural and lots of multi-cultured people taking a wage from the City, that I hardly seen any non-whites running for charity.
I did see a couple of Kenya runners, however they are there to win the race not to help charities?
Can you tell me why this is the case?

I had never noticed this till you wrote this question..we recently had the Great North Run where I live and with the exception of professional athletes (there for the glory and financed by big companies) the ordinary man/woman off the street tended to be white...I`m afraid we are finding that a lot of ethnic minorities only want to take from the UK not to give....

They were there period. What are you worried about it for anyway? Did it cost you money or time or physical pain because of the lack of various races cooperating? Nobody took anything from you so let it alone.
