If I could go back in time, I wouldn't go back with the intent to kill anyone. I would simply go back and enlighten the masses. The best timeframe to do this would have been the "Dark Ages", in my opinion. I would go back and educate people, and give them the tools to combat the ignorance that was forced on most of Europe.
(This would probably result in some Catholic leader calling for my execution, of course, in which case, I might be forced to demonstrate to them the effectiveness of the 50 calibre machine gun...) Ah... sweet science.

Pointless exercise. History is not about individuals doing certain things or events happening randomly. There is always an impetus that channels itself through individuals alive at the time. If it hadn't been Hitler, it would have been someone else. Same with the French Revolution, the discovery of America, the Norman Conquest. No-one who knows about history imagines that a small change at a certain time will make any kind of large scale difference because the "large" events of history are the result of many "small" ones, not the other way around.

I wouldn't kill anyone, I just could not do that.
There are many events I would like to stop from happening:
9/11
The sinking of the Titanic
WWI, WWII, just about all wars, really -- they start with small events and end so tragically globally
The invention of nuclear weapons
The murders of John Lennon, Martin Luther King and John Kennedy
Honestly, there are too many to list.

Who would I kill? Noone, I believe in God, and know we are not supposed to kill. For no reason at all, "thou shalt no kill".
Now 2: Events, the ones where people were killed innocently as God permitted. I don't understand all the hate in this world, however I do trust it is part of His divine plan/puzzle. If I were in control of time, I wouldn't have let anyone innocent die (ie the holocaust, the tribal wars in Africa, the domination in China, 9/11, slavery throughout all history, and England what a cocky li'l country!).
But I believe those hateful people"get theirs" so to speak. Have faith in that!
"Vengeance is mine saith the Lord." He gave us all the burden and blessing of choice.

I would not change anything, God's plan is perfect though we cannot understand it as of yet.
BUT.. if it were up to me.
I would convince a certain Austrian Art professor to accept a young student into his art academy, That young Art Students name is Adolph Hitler.
had this been done, the holocost would not have taken place.
And, well. doing so without kiling him

IF ?? you can time travel.... go back to the past........ but you cannot change the past.... if because of a change in the past.... it is possible that you wouldnt have been born in the future.... so you would cease to exist ...the moment you try and change the past......
