The most important thing to remember if you have curly hair is to keep it moisturized! This will prevent if from bunching up, frizzing or becoming tangled. A fantastic product line for curly hair (of every texture) is from Miss Jessies. The products are designed to be used in various ways, so for instance, if you want your hair to look more wavy than curly, there is a technique for "stretching" the curls. If you want them curly and bouncy, they have a product for this too. Miss Jessies products are available on their website.

A lot of gloss serums can calm it down, but they contain silicone and I am not sure how your hair responds to silicone. That said, try using some olive oil sheen spray on your hair when it is wet and before styling. Not only it is healthy for your hair, but it also keeps the hair down.

Well you can use a light hair straightener or when you're finished taking a shower blow dry your hair while you pull lightly on your hair. Hope this helps ; )

Straighten your hair with a hot comb or flat iron.
