what are the differences from early earth to now as far as its climate today

Almost everything; due to a lack of plants and bacteria photosynthesing there was very little oxygen (somewhere around 0.1%) but much carbon dioxide (about 30%); the climate was probabaly unstable; although it is difficult to tell due to the lack of fossilised plants and animals present. Due to the larger numbers of active volcanos the atmosphere would have been toxic and the global tempurature somewhat warmer than it is today due to the high levels of Carbon dioxide

Hope this helps

How early is "early?" At one point, the Earth was a bubbly mass of molten material, with no atmoshpher, to speak of. At some othe point, the surface cooled enough to have a fairly solid crust, with a tremendous amount of volcanic activity, much of which was the source of an atmosphere. At some later point, some of this atmosphere condensed into rain which, eventually became ocean.

So, there are MANY differences, compared to today's climate. But then, one can't really say that our planet only has one, single climate, when you consider the differences between the hot Sahara to the freezing Arctic areas, and everything in between.

The early Earth had no ozone layer and so life developed in the seas. Once lifeforms started releasing oxygen then the ozone layer formed, which allowed life to exist on the land. The climate on the Earth typically has been warmer than it is today, and there is little evidence of ice, even at the polar regions.

Every single thing that you can think of was different back thousand's of years ago, thhe atmosphere was way cleaner but more dangerous due to the weather patterns, but, due to our economic systems, technology and just simply human beings took a small part in earth's climate and overall change.
