Nah, That's what chlorine is for, silly. It kills the germs.

If the ph is balanced correctly in the pool and the temperature is not too (where germs would multiply faster) a pool isn't too bad. It's when the ph is not balanced correctly or when it is too hot, that you're swimming in a petri dish.

As long as the chlorine (or other such material) is kept at an acceptable level, it is fine to swim in a public pool.

I do not use public pools. Pee, poop, not wiping correctly after using the restroom. Women having periods. Not all young women, and older women use tampons correctly. Some children are not going to take the time to get out run to the rest room most of the time. Just think of what comes out of some noses.

That's why they use chlorine amongst many other chemicals to keep down the bacteria and keep the pool clean. If it's green or brown, don't get in!!!

The thought of swimming in a public pool is nauseating…snot, fecal matter, piss, etc. I know chlorine kills germs…but I don’t like swimming in chemicals. To each his own, though.

It's only a problem when pigs pee in the pool...or ignorant people put babies in with diapers and whatever is in their diaper ends up in the pool.

Yes, because you're practically swimming in a pool of bodily fluids of other people. That's why I don't swim. Period.
