he feels like he has to scream every word when his baby sister is awake

he's attention SEEKING. when he yells you need to tell him that you will not listen until he talks in a normal tone... and give him an example the first time. DO IGNORE his yelling or you will never be given any peace.

tell him to talk in a indoor voice and drill it on him every time he starts yelling inside if he still doesent listen then im sorry but he would get a spanking or time out

try to explain to him that she is his younger sister and he shld take care of her instead of jealous of her..when u place a responsibility on your son like helping mum to take care of his sister when she is cooking, he will feel u actually love and trusts him in turn he will be better.and u must take give attention to his sometimes otherwise he will be more not gd towards his sister..as he thinks u love her more than him.

that's a sign that he's feeling like he's not getting attention...try including him in everything u and the other little one do make him think he's the big helper.....also spend time with just u and him let him know u haven't forgotten him

When he is yelling just look at him and say "I can't hear you when you are so loud" repeat till he gets the message that you won't give him attention till he is quiet. With my daughter it was " I can't hear you when you are whining. It worked

he is obviously jealous of her.. and probably feels you love her more...he is begging you for attention.. you need to give him some BEFORE it gets to the yelling stage...

why does he feel the need to yell to get her attention? you need another sitter.
