Yes we have been told until you guys have become redundant that we should understand that God is not real. And we have answered back just as often that you have no faith and that is fine but do not begreudge me mine. I do not belittle you because you do not believe. I might wish I could talk you into belief but I know that if you do not want to hear then you wont. So I respect your right to be an atheist and wish you would respect mine to be a Christian. Is that too much to ask?

OK, show me some type of circumstantial evidence that the tooth fairy came back from the dead and started a movement that totally changed the world, and maybe I'll believe you.
----------------------------------------------------------
...Frank Morrison, a British lawyer of the 1930s, undertook an expedition to collect circumstantial evidence to disprove the resurrection. Such evidence, of course, is admissible in all courts of law in civilised countries to prove or disprove events of which there are no living eyewitnesses. When he analysed the evidence, he reached a stunning conclusion: The resurrection had actually taken place! Morrison presented his case in his book, "Who Moved the Stone?"
Another factor worth considering is the character of the disciples. They were eleven cowardly men who shut themselves in a room after the crucifixion because they were afraid. Yet what galvanized them into action so that within their own lifetime, much of the thenknown world could hear the message of Christ? Some of them paid for this message with their lives. Would they have done so if the resurrection were a hoax?...

You have to understand that there's more to belief in God than you'd guess from talking to the average fundamentalist.
Have you read any of the classical philosophical arguments for God's existence? Anselm? Aquinas? Kant? Hartshorne? Crack those (some of the greatest minds in human history) and then decide if God is in the same category as the tooth fairy.
If you're an atheist without ever having engaged the most potent arguments for theism, you're a pretty poor atheist.

To be blunt like you. Why can't you understand that no God the Christians is like no life (suicide, no meaning) to Atheists. If were not here for a purpose, then there's no reason to stay. Your life means nothing to yourself. Now how sad and pathetic is that?

We do understand that, which is one reason why some of us do not program our children to believe in such things as the tooth fairy or santa claus.
In teaching our children to believe in such things and then one day telling them that they are not real, we have programmed them to shove Jesus Christ, their personal Lord and Savior into the same category as the tooth fairy and santa, just as you have done here today. Sad!

Tell me if this sounds delusional. I don't believe in Space Aliens so I hang out in UFO questions and answers trying to prove to all the UFO people that space aliens don't exist. I am either 1. Not secure in my disbelief of aliens or 2. Just a disrespectful jerk that likes to see people get upset.
I hope you are not secure in your beliefs.
:)
May GOD richly bless you anyway.

You just quoted just what the Bible sya you would say, Ummmm.
Interesting>
1Cr 2:14 But people who aren't Christians can't understand these truths from God's Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them because only those who have the Spirit can understand what the Spirit means.
1Cr 2:15 We who have the Spirit understand these things, but others can't understand us at all.

Simple. Because the Christians can use historical and scientific evidence to corroborate what is in the Bible.
Can't do THAT with the tooth fairy.
But you can believe whatever you want to. I just hope you're right.
