God did not make the mistake. Humans chose to make all the mistakes. Any life on another planet has to be more intelligent than humans.

Why wouldn't he create life on another planet. And believe me, if God made "mistakes", he would be God anymore. And that's not going to happen.

God doesn't make mistakes, just because we humans judge Him by our finite minds.

God has made many earth like worlds all are populated by humans.

Moses 1:37-38, "And the Lord God spake unto Moses, saying: The heavens, they are many, and they cannot be numbered unto man; but they are numbered unto me, for they are mine. And as one earth shall pass away, and the heavens thereof even so shall another come; and there is no end to my works, neither to my words."

Southpaw had the same idea as I did. I was unaware that God made mistakes on this world. Maybe you could explain afew of them. I am sure they are more likely your misunderstanding of what God was doing than mistakes made by Him... Jim

I don't think so. From a design viewpoint we're a bit of an embarassment to any self respecting deity-the bone structure of our feet is flawed, we can't synthesise vitamin c (unlike almost every other species), the position of the pelvic bones makes childbirth more difficult than it needs to be-the list goes on. Of course I should point out that all of these "design flaws" are explainable if we accept that we evolved from 4 legged primates.

God never makes mistakes. He created us and gave us Jesus so that we may have Eternal Life - what could be better than that.
