Why not tell the person instead of just leaving them hanging. I do not understand.

Did not have sex with him, just deeply kissed him. Honestly, wanted to have sex with him, but never had the chance of this happening since he has not called.

joverlien: We both said we were interested. We kissed. We made plans. What else is a girl suppose to do to tell the guy she is interested?

That is a different situation now. I had a situation where I was interested in going to a gal's house for the same reason you just mentioned. I was supposed to come over to her house right after work. However, I tried calling her and she didn't answer her phone. Also, I couldn't leave her a voicemail because her mailbox was full. So I felt that maybe she was avoiding me. She could have told me that she wasn't interested instead of leaving me hanging. She was the one who asked me to come over too. So gals do this kind of stuff to guys too. At least I tell someone if I'm not interested in her.

I do. I do it politely and with as much caring and consideration I can for the other person.

I wonder why I almost never get this in return when the shoe is on the other foot? Like a month ago, this woman breaks up with me. No reason, no discussion....nothing. I HATE that........whay can't I meet all these so-called nice women that are suppose to be out there?! lol They don't even break up nicely.

Sorry for getting off on a tangent, but there ARE men who do try to do things right. Sorry if you got hurt by someone doing that to you.

I can't answer for all guys, but I have been very upfront with the women in my life that I was not interested in.
Now I have a ?? for you, why can't a woman take a rejection like a lady without throwing a fit?

I personally, care about the feeling of the used to be lover...I do not want to hurt her by say I do not want you! After all I had those fantastic memories of the past in mind. at least for I have to sooth the relation for a little while.

Cos we're scumbags, the lot of us. We like getting into knickers, even if we have no intention of doing it, we like to know that we can. We are basically more insecure than women. Hopefully one day you will meet a nice bloke who is honest with you and isn't so messed up.

Not interested? Not interested *right now*, maybe, but we never want to close a door that could potentially lead to sex...

because ladys....chicks...or whatever girls always claim that they don`t wanna know what guys want to tell them because you ladies always assume that we gonna propose to you but necessarily this may not the case so just be cool and hear what the other guy is gonna say don`t ignore like you always do.

sometimes yeah I just want to keep my options open yeah but it is not always that, sometimes I really don't want to hurt another persons feelings and would rather avoid it like the plague

It could just be diplomacy. If you really love the guy just give him a deadline. Then see how he reacts. You will then know for sure.
