i'm 15 and so is he. so whenever we were in history class last year, he kept on asking me how the tests went for me but then when we got them back he braged that he got A's. And then on the street, he randomly called out my name, and started asking me if i knew how the final would be graded.do i look like the teacher? He was in the history class after mine.. so he couldn't have known my name from class.
so this year we have a class together, i find him staring at me all the time. and today he finally talked to me to see if i understood a concept. all i said was "no". i felt so bad afterwards!! we sit half way across the room from each other, but he stares at my face for about 95% of class time. and i just don't get what he wants. can't he talk?? do you think he'll ever talk to me? he is quite cute....
he's pretty popular.. and i'm just regular. could that be it? last night he added me as a friend on myspace. he sent me a message introducing him. does he think i don't remember him?

Ah the stupidity of young love. (sigh) This boy likes you but he hasn't been around long enough to know what to do. At this age I find the best tactic when dealing with idiot boys is to ask yourself if you are really interested and if the answer is yes, make a move and see. good luck and do not stress about it too much, grown men take a long time to gain the courage to ask someone out and boys take even longer. Good Luck

ok honey, it's pretty clear he's hot for you. Don't you get all weird around guys that you like? Don't be intimidated by the fact that you think he's more popular than you. Besides since he asked you about the tests, that means he's trying to talk to you. Maybe you two won't be so shy online.

He's just trying to get your attention, and that's probably about it. If he wanted to go out with you, he would have asked by now. He sounds very silly to me.
Boy, and eventually men, do this kind of stuff to see if they can get a girls interest. My opinion is, "If you want to go out with me, then ask me out. If the best you can do is stare at me all day, then you aren't ready for me. Stop acting stupid and leave me alone."
I really think he's just toying with you. I wouldn't give him a second thought. He's a popular kid, cute kid who's used to getting his way. This isn't about him wanting to get to know you, it's about him trying to figure out how long he can keep you interested.
Forget him.

sounds like he likes you maybe he is just shy just because he is popular and smart doesn't mean that he can't be nervous around a girl and he might never ask you out, if you are interested in him ask him to go to the movies with you or something and take the time to find out what you have in common with each other

He's trying to get your attention. Just because he is popular does not mean he isn't shy. Get on myspace and be as real with him as you were in your letter. And by the way!!!!!!! you are not just regular!!!!!!

i think that he is trying to catch your attention and his way of doing this is bragging that he is smart. I also think that he thinks you are smarter than him and you are somewhat of a threat. Just let him be, if he wants to be friends, why not. You are still very young and you have a full life ahead of you so dont let this get to your head. Be yourself.

I think he might like you, but boys are dumb, and he just doesn't know how to talk to you, so he uses a subject in school to strike up a conversation. You should try to give intelligent answers to his questions, and see how it goes from there.

If you like him, just be yourself and talk to him in a regular way. At your age(and every age) head games are always played. Try to rise above them and see things for what they are. He probably likes you.
