I work for said organisation and say I haven't really noticed...uniform standards require us to be dressed smartly with tied up long hair, trimmed facial hair (inc the women) clean uniform with polished shoes and good personal hygiene. We stopped having obligatory hat wearing over a year ago. Piercings are meant to be discreet or kept to a minimum, but some staff obviously ignore these rules. Oh, and all men must wear a tie on duty, unless the temperature goes over 26 degrees or something, which is why you see a scruffier man on the gate during the summer.

We stopped wearing checked shirts because if we happened to shop in tesco's on the way home from work other customers would ask us where the gravy was. Oh yes indeedy!

I am working for lul but don't have piercing.I have been working for 6 years and enjoy it.I don't know what is the policy on piercing but I suppose if you have too many it doesn't look very nice for the customers.
