The sad fact is that if you had asked about almost anywhere else in the UK you might have got a better response.
Maybe you should take a flask of cofee with you if you plan to go to Rochdale.
Maybe you should ask where to buy a rubbish cup of coffee in Rochdale and see if the responses rise ? It won't help your thirst, but at least you'll know people are not ignoring you.

I think the fact that you only got one answer says it all. Rochdale is a miserable place.
Out of interest the best coffee I have ever tasted is Hong Wings coffee. Here, in Trinidad and Tobago it is grown locally and can be bought in the supermarkets. I do not know if it is exported to Rochdale but if you get the chance to try it please do.

Starbucks and Costa Coffee both make an excellent cup of coffee, and I'm sure that there must be one of those in your area. If you try a website called "Up My Street", and enter your postal code and the type of shop you're looking for, it will tell you exactly how to get there by car or foot or train. Go to
http://www.upmystreet.com and then follow the instructions on how to use the website.
Good luck!

There must be a John Leiws/BHS/M&S in Rochdale. They're OK for coffee, and M&S cappuccino cake is to die for!

I live in Wigan (which is between Liverpool & Manchester) and I don't think we have a coffee shop at all. Sometimes I would just love a Starbucks!!!!!!
