it depends what u mean, usually people who refuse to listen to different peoples ways of life and culture are suffering from some sort of ignorance and don't really want integration they want the other to fall in with them.i don't think there's one person including myself out there that isn't some bit 'racist',its human nature,but those that notice there prejudices and stop themselves acting on them are less ignorant.integration depends on a lack of ignorance,some people are ready for that and some aren't its as simple as that

I think it's because people get comfy with thier own ways and almost have a fear of the unknown and a fear of change, they get settled in their ways and think any other way is wrong instead of just accepting difference. It's a small minded way of living beacause they are missing out on the richness of other cultures, it can be bigotry and is often passed on from generation to generation meaning some people become racist and predjudiced. The more we learn from others the better we can become as a civil society and those that refuse are perhaps ignorant to what they can achieve through the acceptance of others around us.

British people are the same. They migrate all across the globe and refuse to speak any other language other than English. Go to spain for example, there are a lot Brits that have Migrated there and cant even speak a word of Spanish. They also refuse to learn the language. They also bring there British Culture with them.
When people migrate to the UK and do the same as what the Brits do, the Brits start complaining.
Its OK for a White man to do what he wants, but anyone else must do what the white man wants.

Why do people aways assume that eveyone wants to intergrate? I was never asked if I wanted to be part of a multi-racial society! I have nothing against peoples of other colour or religions, I just want to live amongst my own kind, with our own ways. It's been proved, time and time again, that the option does not work!

Some groups have no intention of integrating. If they come to Britain, it is OUR way of life that they MUST adopt. I will show an interest in their culture when, and if, I visit their country on holiday. Some countries don't seperate their religion, politics, culture, they are indivisible. In Britain we can, and do. This means that each element can be criticised. We can't even define what culture means. Multiculturalism, is an unworkable sham, because it demotes the host countries culture to the same status as immigrant cultures.

Because it is British culture and way of life ,and if people don't like it then they can break the law and us British taxpayer's will give them money to go home for a bit on holiday then they can return and the process can start all over again.
And as for MR CURIOUS learn to spell if your going to GOB OFF and there are more than just white British people so take your stupid narrow view somewhere else IDIOT.

when a person of Jack Straws stature is not entitled to an honest opinion it should become evident to everyone in Britain that we are on a slippery slope to disaster.The tail is now wagging the dog so to speak. Without a firm line soon our country and way of life will disappear. but still maybe that is the kind of social engineering that the labour party set out to achieve in the first place.I am just thankfull that more than half my life has passed and all those who think up such wonderfull ideas will still be around to suffer the consequences.When the minority are fully in charge they wont treat you as well as you have been forced to treat them . Trust me

The small minded group that you are talking about probably dont want to integrate so they dont care.
The time will come, however when they are in the minority and nobody will want to integrate with them, then they will see what it feels like.

If they don't try to integrate or listen to other peoples way of life,especially when they are technically guests of that country, they are promoting racial tensions.
