OK, so you're in a new relationship, and he turns the cell off on sat night till sunday. So what if he had other aquantances before you (male or female) and he does not want to get disturbed by them????
If he is with you during that time, I think you should take advantage of the situation while his cell is off and get to know him better. Is he not allowed to have had other relationships before you? Were you looking for a hermit who knows no one?
I think you should stop doubting at such an early stage of the game and take the time to get to know him. Doubt is a poison that kills new relationships at the roots

You don't say whether you are with him at those times he has it switched off. If you are then consider it a form of flattery that he doesn't want to be disturbed while with you as he wants to give you all his attention. If not, and you are unable to contact him at the time it is switched off then I think you can assume that he has someone else at weekends. If it is a new relationship and you will not be heartbroken why don't you just ask him? It will save you a lot of heartache further on into the relationship. Good luck!

I often leave my phone at home when I go out and only remember to look for it the next afternoon. Ok I am normally going out with someone so that doesn't help you. Just ask him, but don't make it look like you don't trust him. Just put in a way that he will think you were worried about him.
All the best.

Maybe he just didn't want to be contacted by anyone (not just you)! I think you're being a little paranoid, tbh.
Sure, there's a chance he was up to badness, but give him the benefit of the doubt, especially as it's a new relationship.

Without knowing what he is doing and whether it is his official mobile, no conclusions can be arrived at. There are several people who do not want to be disturbed on week ends and hence switches off their mobiles!! It can also be due to the fact that Sunday's business is his own personal business and has nothing to do with anyone else. So don't jump into conclusions!!!

Oh ye of little faith. There could be any number of reasons....how do you know he turned it off? I posted a very similar question this morning, wondering why an apparently keen guy hadn't responded to me......it turned out he'd picked up some friends from the airport at 4am, got home at 7am and been asleep until gone 1 o clock.
Occupy yourself with something and he'll turn up!

Maybe he doesnt want to be disturbed by calls?
The phone is an invitation to answer. You dont have to answer it.
It doesnt necissarily mean he (whoever he is) is up to no good but if he is not returning your calls on a regular basis I would say you are wasting your time with him as he sounds too busy to put any effort into a relationship.

Is it a relationship or just dates? If it's a relationship, you should know what he was doing this weekend. If you are just dating, he can do whatever he wants....and so can you. He may have shut the phone off by accident (I have), maybe he went away, maybe he lost it. Sounds like you are just dating. It also sounds as if he may not be that into you.

hmmm, i dont think he is up to no good, maybe its a family thing and he doesnt want to be interrupted. maybe he is visiting with his kids? working at a strip club? and as far as not calling on sunday? well there may be church obligations and he wasnt able to call or he meant to and got sidetracked... dont necessarily think he is up to no good. give people the benefit of the doubt. :)
