OMG!! Do not use head and shoulders! That coats the dandruff to your scalp, making it look like it is gone, then when you stop using it, it comes back.. You need a product with tea tree oil in it. Try something by loreal. Or go to a salon and paul mitchell has tea tree products, that will help get rid of it.. Anything with mousiturizer in it will help.

I actually find it very useful to change shampoos every several months. my hair comes out better that way. it actually gets "used" to the same old shampoo and isn't its usual bouncy shiny smooth way. some kinds i like, and i get as good results with drugstore brands, if not better than "salon", are panteen and clairol herbal essences. lots to choose from as far as hair type and results. my daughter needs a anti-dandruff and likes to use
fructese(sp?) dandruff control.

Try Tea Tree products but u should have at least two different proucts. I mean shampoo, conditioner, scalp exfoliant. Because ur hair like any other body part become immune to one product usage.

Any shampoo that is intended for dry or damaged hair will also protect against dandruff.

My husband uses Pantene's True Confidence. He likes it, and it works for him.

In reality, anything with the right ingredients will take care of dandruff. Look on the bottle, if it has zinc pyrithione in it, then it will work.

I agree with Cherie. Also, I'm using Paul & Mitchell which works fine. Good luck!
