You're able to get things that would not occur naturally. Such as carrots that wont absorb insecticide...and peas that taste like cherries...Theoretically the possiblities are endless...So there's alot of benefits, you just have to imagine them...and I guess that's your answer...You get freedom

I'm not sure - higher yield? More nutritious? What is with this obsession with messing with nature?
