My True Love
I’ve waited a lifetime for you
I’ve searched the whole world over,
Looking for your love.
Some days I never thought I’d find you
And I wanted to give up
So many other faces, so many wrong embraces
Trying to find one heart that felt like home to me.
None of them could ever compare to you love,
You are my strength, my joy.
You give me comfort from the storm
You make me smile on cloudy days
You keep me safe and warm.
I would be so lost without you,
Your love is so pure and true
Your heart, so beautiful and kind
Because you’ve walked that long, lonely road
That made you who you are (mine!).
I know it’s been a hard long journey
And it may get harder still
But together we can lift each other
Our strength will get us through
I’ll never give up; I’ll never give in
As long as I have you.
When I look into your eyes
I know that love is real
When you hold me in your arms love,
Nothing else compares
Let me lay here with you forever
And gaze at your beautiful face
And dream of our life together
Lost in your embrace.

This person should really go into writing as a profession... Very nice and it speaks t oyou as you are reading..
Your response should be of love and respect towards this person.
This is truly heartfelt and this person adores you and is very much in love with you. You are very lucky, I hope you feel the same way.
Tell them, how much you loved it, how it made you feel so wonderful and happy to have them in your life and of course you love them. I don't think writing a poem back would be the right thing to do. Embrace their love and go with the flow.....
Bravo... I thought all the writers has disappeared.. this one has a future ahead of them....

True Love
I feel you in my heart
with every breath I take.
I smell your scent of happiness
in every morning we awake.
I touch your smooth and tender face
with every chance l get.
The feeling of your presence
makes me happy, we met.
I know everything, but nothing about you
and I love you in so many wonderful ways.
My heart knows when you’re near me
and it knows when you’re away.
It doesn’t matter what you look like
neither tall, short, skinny or fat.
Your skin is soft without color
and hair as smooth as a cat.
My love for you will never change
and you will always be on my mind.
I wish you could see what I see
from the heart of one who’s blind.

I think you have talent, the only thing i would suggest is changing the title to 'lost in the embrace of my true love'
