By taking her to the opera or a musical (where they can both appreciate it) and writing a note and getting someone important to announce it in front of everyone. She'd probably find this very romantic. That's the best way to do it. (I'm assuming you're not blind yourself otherwise you may have problems checking this answer when you come back :)
