My uncle lived in Italy many years ago, his friend had an alfa romeo. The cars are as good as the pizza.

Italian cars have spirit. They are generally good fun to drive and look fairly smart. I would tend to liken them to Italian women as they are attractive to start with but tend to go a bit scraggy after a few years :)

Fantastic cars, bought by people who have excuisite taste, a desire to live. They're always extremely fit because of the number of times they have to finish their journey by foot but you don't drive an Italian car (apart from Fiat they used to be good but have gone amiss lately) to get from A-B, but just for the pleasure of driving.

Ferraris are crap, for Essex boys. Lamborhinis are cool.
But we ain't ever gonna drive them, I've got an Alfa Romeo and I'll never change from Alfa until I can afford a Noble. The cars are beautiful.

I would never buy one.

Designed with passion, built by people who don't give a damn.

Even Ferraris are badly built and lamborghini are only ok now as they're owned by VW/Audi.

they might look good when they're new but how cool will you look when it leaves you stranded by the side of the road

they used to be cheap and poor quality with bad resale prices.

now they are expensive, but they are still bad quality and even worse resale prices. Dont do it. You'll always have problems with it and it'll be worth nothing when you come to sell it.

Buy German, British or Japanese.

They look good, drive OK and fall to pieces very quickly.

Unreliable, temperamental rust buckets, but they are improving.
