A disease found in boys more often than girls three to one. Starting in childhood the symptoms include lack of muscle coordination, involuntary purposeless movements, tics, incoherent grunts and barks that may represent stifled obscenities. At puberty this grunts resolve into involuntary attacks of swearing and coprollalia (use of obscene and/or vulgar launguage) in some victims. It is now thought to be neurological rather than psychiatric disease, the etiology however is still unknown.
