You should tatoo a wedding band on your finger, but the band should be the date of your wedding. So on your left hand, your ring finger will have the date of your marriage wrapped around it like a ring. CONGRADULATIONS!!!!

Hello,
I am also not into the hears and doves. However, my ex had a double heart done with the birth dates for his two children in side. It was located on his chest over his heart.
You may not like hearts but in this instance it would be a consideration. Double heart over lapping with the date written in. If you should have children, their initials and date of births can also go in the hearts.
I have spoken to my husband and suggested the same thing for our two kids. He has expressed the same thing as you but this is something he will always have for life, the children.
God bless
Good luck

This is sweet.
Have you thought of having your rings drawn intertwining with a circular ray of light coming from behind and below the rings have your wedding date & a single new flower such as a Rose in the tattoo. It would represent the start of your new life together.

If you did some kind of special theme for your wedding, use a representative symbol (winter-snowflake, Hawaiian- lei, Japanese- chibi geisha) and then just top it with your date! I think that's a cute little idea.
Surprising, though. I rarely just get things off the top of my head!

get a band around your ring finger....or maybe the guy/girls name tattood there...or the date somewhere on your body like carmen electra did...she has the date on her wrist...but now what will she do since she is divorced. you could get a small heart somewhere. i saw a white heart in a pic once...very cool looking because you can barely see it...unless you are black then it shows up better i know you said no hearts but the white one looks interesting.

Well i started a family tree down my spine. I have mine and my husband's atrological signs linked at the top of my spine. (back of my neck) Then when my son was born i put his sign about two inches below the other signs. I plan to do that with all my children's signs. when i eventually have more kids.

Ivy is symbolic of marital fidelity, so maybe a little sprig of ivy? That would be a nice one for the two of you to get together.

whatever you do DON'T do names!!!
Is there something special to the two of you, a quirky memory or maybe he proposed to you in a unique way? It doesn't have to be something everyone understands if its for the two of you. Good Luck!
