What I love above all with the English is that they're always complaining about the Germans being racist and the French being arrogant and when you just throw an anecdotic question at them, they always end up saying that the Britons are superior to anybody and everybody else smells, sucks etc. So much for the modesty...

I don't think that it is better to be someone else. I mean, French and British culture are obviously different and if you are used to one of them I think it would be really difficult to get used to the other one. French are said to be dirty, coward and arrogant (the last one might be true) but British are said to be introverted, narrow-minded and tasteless. Nevertheless, I think that both culture have good aspect at least it means that you don't have to spend a lot of money to go in a country with a different way of life.
French guy.
P.S.: They should have asked if Britons want to be Danish because French weather is generally better than British one...

Being from London I clearly think its better to be English. Although the Frent are supposed to be fashion conscience when I have been to France all the men walk around with flowers on thier shirts and bright pink trousers. Very wierd.
They also smell really bad and have awful breath.
They are the most rude race I have EVER come across. The language in my opinion is horrible and our Country as a whole is a lot better.
Although, Paris is an amazing city - that is the only bonus I can imagine about being French. You would have a stunning Capital city - but then again, thats not London. I think this survey was carried out by people who would rarther be French because here in Britain we pay for loads of Muslims to live here rent free and make bombs to blow us up - the French just through them to Calais and they run under the Channel Tunnel to England and our stupid government welcomes them - SEND THEM BACK TO FRANCE WITH ALL THE RIOTS!!!

God, no!
I'm British and a Patriot. I truly love Britain, it's perks and flaws. I'm definitely in the 4/5 of Brits who don't want to be French. I will NEVER emigrate, especially not to France, as I see emigration as desertion.
They eat snails, frogs and horses, and surrender too much for my tastes... And women should shave their armpits!
Contrary to this lot, I'd rather be dead than French, and will fight to keep us British.
Besides, that Thierry Henri is a prat.

This survey is pointless!
I'm sure Britons would also prefer to be Spanish or German and vice versa.
The life always seems better in an other place than your own!
