You might have to check with your Humane Society. Most iof them do not sell pet medicine, but in my county, the volunteers can donate money and the Humae Society buys medicine by the bulk and they do sell it to individuals at a lower price. so check to see if your county offers this. If not, you might want to see www.petoptions.com

I have used this wedsite several times and found it to be very affordable.

I didn't think the Humane Society sold pet medications so I went to their main site and checked: http://www.hsus.org/ There is nothing mentioned there about pet medications.

I do know that you can get pet meds here though and the prices are reasonable: http://www.1800petmeds.com/ For some, you will need a prescription but not for all of them.
