If Jesus and Lucifer are both refered to as "The bright and shining morning star", and "son of the morning", it stands to reason that they are the same person. Ergo, Jesus=Lucifer. Right?

Use a KJV and the reference is Identical, Bright and shining morning star, son of the morning. Lucifer, Venus worship....The only logical conclusion is that they are the same persona

I'm very interested in this, please give verse(s) that you pulled this out of...my bible and I are waiting. Thanks.
Okay here goes....
Lucifer is literally translated as "morning star" however this is a "mistake" of the KJV, because the name was not in the first translations. From a christian point of view it was sort of a sarcastic remark, because Satan was trying to make himself look like Christ, when he was the exact opposite. This Christian view comes from http://www.acts17-11.com/dialogs_morningstar.html.
Thanks...btw I am not a Christian, so I'm not saying it's fact, I'm just telling you what a Christian scholar has stated.

Satan would love for everyone to belief that lie. No, Jesus is the son of God whereas Lucifer was one of the three ark-angels that govern heaven and all of the work by angels there. Jesus is the bodily Word of God, check out Jn. 1:14 and the word became flesh. The Word, God and the Holy Spirit are the triune God-head in heaven, and there is no Lucifer in that government. Lucifer is a created angelic being made by God eons ago. He wanted to be even like God when sin was found in him and he was kicked out of heaven. He, Lucifer will be destroyed after the millennium and cast into the lake of fire in the end, until then he is God s instrument. LorLin2

When Lucifer was in heaven, he was over the throne reflecting the glory of the Son. He was in a high position before he tried to take over. He was covered in precious stones and had pipes IN his body (Ez 28:13) However, he also tempted Jesus in the desert so they couldn't be the same person.

It never says in the Bible that Lucifer is the bright and morning star. And No sweetie Jesus and Lucifer are not the same, where in the world did you get that from. Jesus is the BRIGHT AND MORNING STAR, HE IS THE TRUTH, THE WAY AND THE LIFE.

You are a way far off the mark. Jesus is not the same as Lucifer and that is borne out at the temptation of Christ after fasting.

only lucifer is refered to as "The bright and shining morning star", and "son of the morning",
John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."

Isaiah 14:12. the form you're fallen from heave, O Lucifer, son of the morning! the form you're cut back all the way down to the floor, You who weakened the countries! For you have stated on your heart: "i will ascend into heaven i will exalt my throne above the celebrities of God; i will additionally sit down onthe mount of the congregation ........." Fallen from heaven is a parent of speech meaning solid down from an exalted politcal place. Jesus stated, "and you, Capernaum, who're exalted to heaven, would be delivered all the way down to Hades" (Lk 10:15), and curiously with a similar meaning, "I observed devil fall like lightning from heaven" (Lk 10:18). The call LUCIFER in Hebrew actually means "DAY great call", or the planet venus. The poetic language of this verse describes the aspiration of this brightest great call to climb to the zenith of the heavens and its extinction in the previous the growing to be solar. it is an apt precis of the failed objective of the king of Babylon (v.4) who needed to hold close conventional and eternal domination. Tertullian, Milton and others have linked this passage to the occupation of devil on the foundation of Luke 10:18, however the text fabric does not make this connection. We do understand, in spite of if, Lucifer became a king and not a fallen angel. And the passage is going directly to assert, "you shouldn't be joined with them in burial, on the grounds which you have destroyed you land and slain your human beings. THE BROOD OF EVILDOERS SHALL in no way BE NAMED" this implies the King's posterity should not be remembered. From what i assemble, it is secure to assert Lucifer and devil are 2 completley diverse human beings/spirits. If devil have been Lucifer, and vise versa, then the blatant wisdom everybody by some means acquires of the devil, we could aslo acquire the certainty of his rein on earth by way of fact the main evil king.

When Jesus was termpted at the pinnacle of the Temple by Satan, did He say to Himself:"If you are the Son of God,cast yourself down."
When Satan tempted Jesus after a 40 day fast, did he say to himself:"If you are the Son of God,take these stones and make them into bread."
Did Satan say to himself after showing Jesus the World,"I will give you all of these things,if you bow down and worship me."
You need to study the subject before making outlandish claims.
Is Jesus to be blamed for all of the murders commited over time?
Get real bud.If they are one and the same, then all of Christianity falls.
This is a truely ignorant question.

No, because when Lucifer was kicked out of Heaven he took several angels with him. Half went with him and half went with Jesus. Hence 2 individuals.
