Does your cat possess any obsessive compulsive disorder traits?
We broke him of walking around the chair 3 times before he jumps up on us, now he's back doing it again. Or is he just being a cat.

No. If he makes it around my chair once, he is considered lucky, or I am a bad shot.

Yes, my cat HAS to come in the kitchen and 'hit' some of her food whenever either myself or my boyfriend are in there. Even if it's just to get a drink or wash our hands.

She was a shelter cat before we adopted her and was in a room full of other cats living communally. So I guess it is perhaps she feels like 'kitchen' time is 'food' time, or she is threatened that the other cats(myself and bf) will get the 'pickings' of her food before she does.

My cat's a food addict. LOL

ha ha ha... that's so funny. I've heard of pets with idiosyncracies. Your cat's idiosyncracy is harmless and rather endearing, I think.
